【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandard-establishesasystemofgraphicalsymbols,intendedforuseinthemarkingofworkweararticlesandprotectiveclothingprovidinginformationonthesuitabilityforprofessionalindustriallaunderingusingISO15797,and-specifiestheuseofthesesymbolsinqualifyinggarmentsaspotentiallysuitableforindustriallaundering.Thefollowingprofessionalindustriallaunderingtreatmentsarecovered:washing,bleaching,tunnelfinishingandtumbledryingafterwashing.Textile-caretreatmentsindryandwetcleaningarecoveredinISO3175.ThisInternationalStandardappliestoarticlesofworkwearandprotectiveclothingintheforminwhichtheyaresuppliedtotheprofessionallaunderer.ItisarequirementofthisInternationalStandardthatinformationontheperformanceofworkwearandprotective-clothingarticlesandtheircomponentswithrespecttocleaningtreatments(ISO15797)beobtainedtoallowselectionoftheappropriatelabels.OnlygarmentsthatcanbesuccessfullytestedaccordingtoISO15797needbelabelled.
