【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesproceduresfortheestablishmentandoperationofagaugingstation,equippedwithanelectromagneticflowmeter,inanopenchanneloraclosedconduitwithafreewatersurface.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoconfigurationswhereanartificialmagneticfieldisgeneratedthroughwhichtheentirebodyofwaterflows.Theinducedvoltageissensedinsuchawaythatallelementsofthemovingwatercontribute.Theequipmentdescribednormallyrequiresanelectricalmainspowersupply.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletodevicessamplingonlypartoftheflowingbodyofwater(e.g.velocitymeters)ortoflowmeterswhichoperatebyusingtheEarth'smagneticfield.
