【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReport(TR)offersguidanceonthemanagementofsoftwaredocumentationtomanagersresponsiblefortheproductionofsoftwareorsoftware-basedproducts.Thisguidanceisintendedtoassistmanagersinensuringthateffectivedocumentationisproducedintheirorganization.ThisTRaddressesthepolicies,standards,procedures,resourcesandplanswithwhichmanagersmustconcernthemselvesinordertomanagesoftwaredocumentationeffectively.Theguidancegivenisintendedtobeapplicabletoalltypesofsoftware,fromthesimplestprogramtothemostcomplexsoftwaresuiteorsoftwaresystem.Alltypesofsoftwaredocumentationarecovered,relatingtoallstagesofthesoftwarelifecycle.Theprinciplesofsoftwaredocumentationmanagementarethesamewhateverthesizeofaproject.Forsmallprojects,muchofthedetailgiveninthisTRmaynotapply,buttheprinciplesremainthesame.Managersmaytailortherecommendationstotheirparticularneeds.Theguidancegivenisfromthepointofviewofsoftwaredocumentationmanagement.Detailedadviceisnotprovidedon,forexample,thecontentandlayoutofsoftwaredocuments.
